A reformed saxophone player, Shannon took the drumming leap when she was 19 years old after years of dreaming about it. Many years later, she has been seen in rock and blues bands, orchestra pits, and teaching kids how to play in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her biggest thrill has been shaking the hand of Steve Smith while being told by him she did an excellent job playing at a jam in Chicago. Shannon is a member of Rockin’ 1000 and played in concerts in Germany and France, as well as a video shoot in NYC. During the pandemic, she participated in online efforts with the Norddeutsches Film-Orchester.
