Jules started playing drums at age 9 and never stopped. As a teenager His influences varied from Chicago to Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan to Duran Duran. It didn’t matter what type of music it was all about the drums! After high school he joined the United States Navy and auditioned for the USN boot camp band (Triple threat) upon my acceptance he was invited to join the US Navy band but declined as he had other plans at the time.( a big regret) During my tour he continued to play an hone his skills whenever he could. After his tour he was accepted to the music program at the University of California San Diego (UCSD)where he completed my BA in music and earned a certificate in audio engineering and production. All while he was performing in original music bands. He played in bands though out the 80s and 90s and successfully landed a minor recording deal, toured and produced some original acts. Sadly he never made it to the “big time” but learned a lot, made a lot of good friends and did what he enjoyed most playing the drums! He is a multi instrumentalist playing not only drums and percussion but bass, keyboards, guitar, and violin. He can also sing. For me the best advice He can give to any player young or old…. Do you, don’t worry about what other people think, Strive to be the best you can be and above all love what you do! Jules lives in Maine and runs a small production studio as well as performs in 2 bands playing covers.
