Trish, a drummer hailing from Scotland was initially self-taught, coming from a funk, soul, blues and R&B background. After a brief gap her love for the drums was reignited when she attended West College Scotland to study music performance under the tutelage of Hugh Cox (The Funk Experience). Upon completion of her final year, Trish went straight into session work, both in a live and recording setting, where she gained a wealth of industry experience. Trish is now the owner of Drum Academy private tuition where she provides lessons for all abilities as well as drum therapy. Drum Academy has been in operation for over a decade and can boast a 100% pass rate for all exams undertaken thus far. Currently Trish is focusing on session work and The Nà Dair Collective - a project centred around creating ambient and emotive music for on-screen media.
